Over the last few weeks our email service provider has been dealing with some service issues. Keep reading for more details.
Many of you have experienced periods where sending email has been difficult or non-responsive. This has typically been in the morning but it has also occured at other times. Receiving email has been relatively steady although sometimes there has been a delay and emails have taken a while to make it to your in-box.
We have just received the following notice from Everyone.net and we are sharing it with you in keeping with our policy of disclosure. Email is their entire business and they are working to resolve this as quickly as possible.
We are currently experiencing degraded performance in our email service. This results in deferred email delivery and degraded performance for users as they access mail. The issue was escalated to our operations and engineering teams which have been working aggressively to identify and address the problems.
As a result, the following actions are being taken:
Please know that this has been escalated to the executive level inside of the company and that the key resources in all technical departs have been pulled in to work on this issue until we are confident systems under the highest loads are operating within acceptable norms.

After the emergency changes last night the systems indicate a positive change. We are currently watching the systems closely and gathering important data. Our Engineering and Operations teams will continue monitoring very closely and we will let you know if there are any changes.
