Our friends at the Diamond House in Scottdale, AZ have a great solution. Their custom needs weren't too hard to implement and they fit with the WebKit tool-set very nicely. Basically they have a proprietary database system at their office that keeps all of their diamond inventory up to date. We make a way for them to export that inventory to an excel spreadsheet, and added a custom import feature that they can then upload that spreadsheet to update their entire diamond inventory to their shopping cart for selling them online.
In addition to the inventory management, we made a custom diamond search that lets users search on custom data fields. You can search on cut, color, clarity and carat size. Check our the website and watch out because they have the best prices on diamonds and I know you'll want to buy some!!!
